| Hmmm....These are always tricky boxes to fill in. What to tell? What not to? Well, I guess the basics are a good place to start. My name is Sean and I've enjoyed drawing from an early age. My favorite medium is simply pencil. I love the versatility of it. but I also like to dabble in other mediums as well. I graduated from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with a BS in Media Arts and Animation. Currently, I am not using my degree. But I still draw and I do some freelance around the town I live in. Cartoons have always been a passion of mine, and so I do get to enjoy it, I just am not a published artist. Eh, maybe someday. One thing that stands out in my mind is a response to something that my mother said to me after I had graduated college. She said, "It's amazing that the kid that refused to color in between the lines in his coloring books, turned out to be an artist." I laughed at first, but then it hit me, and I responded in kind. "Yep. But a true artist does not color in between existing lines. He makes up his own." My mother told me that was very profound. Heh. I thought I was merely being a smart ass.  |
